Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician is well-known for her roles in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is a Belgian research assistant who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. She was featured in a leo commercial for coffee alongside actor Shiva in the year 2006. The actress also acted in a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. She has performed in India. The brief appearance was in the final scene in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea to perform the role of a leading character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother with whom her husband has a love affair. Andrea was selected for the part after the actresses Simran Shubana, and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. This film came out in early 2010. She was also invited to be a minor role in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and was released on August 11, 2011. In 2013 she was the first to debut in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance film Annayum Rasoolum.
